Are the calculators free?
Yes — every calculator and reference page, with no account and no email required. The site is paid for by advertising.
Do I need my birth time for a birth chart?
Only for the rising sign and the house placements, which move about one degree every four minutes. The Sun and Moon are accurate from the date alone, so a chart without a birth time is still worth running — the chart calculator tells you which parts to trust.
Is my birth date stored anywhere?
No. It is used to compute the page you asked for and is not written to any database or profile. See the privacy policy.
Which reading should I start with?
With a date and time, start with the birth chart — it produces the Sun, Moon and rising placements the rest of the site refers back to. With only a date, the life path number is the quickest complete result.
Does astrology actually work?
There is no known mechanism by which it could, and no reliable evidence that it does. We publish it as a structured way to think about yourself rather than as prediction, and we say so on the page instead of in small print. The disclaimer is the plain version.
